Appointment Lengths & Fees
Counseling sessions are typically 45 to 50 minutes in length. Psychological assessments are generally 2 hours per session. Fees are $150/meeting for individual counseling sessions. Flat fees are charged for assessments, and vary based on the nature of the referral concern. Please contact Dr. Manning for more information on policies and fees related to psychological evaluations.
Insurance
Manning Psychological Services is not contracted with any specific insurance companies. However, individuals with out-of-network benefits, or preferred provider plans, may be able to have a portion of their therapy costs covered by insurance. It is strongly recommended that families which plan to request insurance reimbursement contact their provider to clearly understand their benefits prior to the initial session. Manning Psychological Services can provide detailed billing statements for any services rendered, and clients are responsible for coordinating any reimbursement for services with their insurance carrier.
Trainings
Dr. Manning has provided training to other psychologists, parents, educators, students and interns on a variety of topics. Recent presentation topics have included the identification and treatment of depression, understanding Autism and Asperger’s Disorder, stress management, working with special needs children, and the differential diagnosis of ADHD and Mood Disorders.
About Dr. Manning
Bradley Manning, Ph.D. earned his doctoral degree from the Ohio State University in 2002. Dr. Manning is licensed by the State of California as a psychologist (PSY 20180) and an educational psychologist (LEP 2736). Through his experience, education and training, Dr. Manning is qualified to conduct assessments and provide therapy for adults, children, and adolescents who are struggling with psychological, behavioral, and educational problems.
Dr. Manning is a member of the American Psychological Association, the National Association of School Psychologists, and the Santa Clara County Psychological Association. He is also a California credentialed, and Nationally Certified, School Psychologist. Dr. Manning and his family have lived in the San Francisco Bay Area since 2002.
